Shop Safety Tees | KBC Safety Shirts
Because these industry & shop buildings tend to get hot in the summer, every year Kadant Black Clawson (KBC) produces Shop Safety T-shirts for its many welders, forklift drivers, machine operators, etc. These Safety Tees help promote company safety guidelines while also giving workers an alternative uniform to stay cool in the summer heat.
The major ask for this design was to include a safety slogan along with a fun image that represents safety, KBC products, and the workers of KBC.
Who is KBC?
Kadant Black Clawson LLC (KBC) is an industry-leading fiber processing equipment supplier that provides innovative solutions for stock pulp preparation, including wastepaper recycling, deinking, virgin fiber, and paper machine approach-flow applications.
Located in Lebanon, Ohio, they deliver the design, manufacture, and service of complete systems for pulping, detrashing, cleaning, screening, and other fiber processes based on the client’s requirements for quality, energy efficiency, and maximum fiber recovery.

KBC offers a “Fiberwall Screen Cylinder” product that has a lot of visual texture and dimension, making it a great background element behind the main figure.
PRINT ADJUSTMENTS
Once we started the printing phase, there was a specific T-shirt color that was requested, and a need for only a 2-color file format. This was a difficult process and quick turnaround that required adjusting the right amount of contrast and readability between the graphics while also only using 2 colors.
